Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

HabitBead ("the app") is a habit tracker for iPhone made by Nodirbek Sattorov ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app and the website habitbead.app.

The short version: your habits stay on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign-in, we run no server that receives your habits, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. The only outside service involved is the one that checks a Pro subscription, described below.

Who is responsible

Nodirbek Sattorov is the developer of HabitBead and the controller of the little personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at nodirsattorovuz@gmail.com.

What the app keeps on your device

The app saves the following only on your iPhone, in its own local database:

None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, iOS includes the app's data in that backup under Apple's own terms.

Reminders

When you turn on reminders, the app asks iOS for permission to show notifications. The reminders are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS itself; no notification passes through a server, and no push token is created or sent anywhere. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Backups and sharing

Export backup (a HabitBead Pro feature) creates a file with your data and opens the iOS share sheet. Where that file goes — Files, iCloud Drive, a message, an e-mail — is your choice and is handled by iOS and the service you pick, not by us. Import backup reads a file you choose and replaces the app's data with it.

Sharing a streak or an award creates an image on your iPhone and hands it to the share sheet in the same way. Nothing is uploaded by the app.

HabitBead Pro and purchases

HabitBead Pro is an optional upgrade — a subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payments are made through your Apple ID and processed by Apple; we never see your card or payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

To confirm whether you have Pro, to restore purchases on a new iPhone, and to prevent fraud, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service provided by RevenueCat, Inc. (United States), which acts as our processor. When the app checks or makes a purchase, RevenueCat receives:

We use this only to give you the Pro features you paid for, to restore them, and to see anonymous totals such as how many people subscribe. RevenueCat stores this data on servers in the United States. Its privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

What the app does not do

Information from Apple

If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics and crash reports about the app. If you test a beta through TestFlight and send feedback, Apple passes that feedback to us. We use these only to fix problems and improve the app.

When you contact us

If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you and to fix what you report, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for that.

The website

habitbead.app is a static website. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: the performance of our contract with you, to provide and restore a Pro subscription you buy; our legitimate interest in answering your messages, preventing fraud and keeping the app and website working; and your consent, for notifications, which you can withdraw in iOS Settings at any time.

How long data is kept

The data in the app stays on your iPhone until you delete it. Settings › Reset all data permanently deletes every habit, check-in, streak and award, and deleting the app removes all of its data. Purchase records held by RevenueCat are kept for as long as they are needed to provide and restore your subscription and to meet accounting and tax obligations. E-mails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

International transfers

RevenueCat and Apple may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because your habits never leave your iPhone, you control them directly in the app. For purchase records held by RevenueCat or for anything else, write to us and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

HabitBead is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law of your country, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Your habits are protected by your iPhone's own security — its passcode, Face ID and encryption. Connections to RevenueCat are encrypted. No method of storage or transfer is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to the minimum.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at habitbead.app/privacy and in the app, with a new date at the top. If a change is significant, we will point it out in the app.
