Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms cover your use of HabitBead ("the app"), a habit tracker for iPhone made by Nodirbek Sattorov ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Apple's licence
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
These terms add to the Standard EULA. Where the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it, and not to use it in a way that breaks the law.
Your data
Your habits, check-ins, reminders and settings are stored only on your device. We do not have a copy and cannot recover them for you. Your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup includes the app's data; with HabitBead Pro you can also save a backup file with Settings › Export backup and keep it somewhere safe. You are responsible for your own backups. What you write in the app — habit names, reminder texts — belongs to you.
Free and Pro
The app can be used for free, with limits — for example, up to three active habits and one reminder per habit. HabitBead Pro is an optional upgrade — a subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase — that removes those limits and adds features such as unlimited habits and reminders, more streak freezes each month, your full history, every colour and custom colours, and backup export and import. The current list of Pro features is shown in the app before you buy.
If Pro ends — a subscription is cancelled or cannot be renewed — the free limits apply again. Nothing is deleted: habits above the free limit move to the archive with their history, and come back when you renew Pro. We may add, change or remove features of the free version or of Pro over time, but we will not take away a feature you have paid for during a period you have already paid for.
Subscriptions, free trials and renewals
- Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription — monthly or yearly — or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. The price of each plan, and the length of a subscription, are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Some subscription plans may start with a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the iOS Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Lifetime is paid once. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel; it stays with the Apple ID you bought it with and can be restored on a new iPhone (below).
- Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- If you move to a new iPhone with the same Apple ID, use Restore on the Pro screen or Settings › Restore purchase to get Pro back — a subscription or Lifetime.
- If a price changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where the law or Apple's rules require it, asks for your consent before the new price applies.
Not medical advice
HabitBead helps you keep track of routines. It does not give medical, health, fitness or psychological advice. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise, diet or health routine, and do not rely on the app for medication or other critical reminders — notifications can be delayed or turned off by iOS.
Our rights
The app, its name, icon, design and content belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any right to use them other than to use the app as described here.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable and your data safe on your device, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that data will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription separately in your Apple ID settings. We may end your right to use the app if you seriously break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country with mandatory consumer protection laws, you also keep the protection of those laws and may bring a claim in the courts of your country. Before any formal dispute, please write to us so we can try to solve the problem first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be published at habitbead.app/terms and in the app, with a new date at the top. If a change is significant, we will point it out in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
